Caring for Planet Earth:Organic Community Garden
The garden is:
- a peaceful place for reflection
- a source of food for the twice-weekly soup kitchens held at St. John United Lutheran Church
- a way to care for our little patch of earth as we advocate for more sustainable policy locally and globally
Want to garden with us?
We'd love to have you. Become a garden steward and adopt a plot! Garden stewards from the church and community adopt plots in the garden and plan each season’s planting together.
Or just come to a garden work day for an hour to a garden work day to weed, mulch, plant, or harvest.
It's a beautiful day. Don't let it get away. U2
